INTRODUCING SECURITY LEVELS: LET'S HOPE THEY NEVER NEED TO BE USED!
Although I hope to never have to use these I'd like to introduce everyone to SECURITY LEVELS: The next step in troll reduction and placing you in the group that bests suits you for reading this LJ.
What is a SECURITY LEVEL?
A SECURITY LEVEL is what lets me decide who reads what in hear should I ever so choose to impliment this proccess. Depending on your SECURITY LEVEL you may be able to read more than someone else. You should NOT share information from your SECURITY LEVEL with someone in a lower level. These levels are designed to control who sees what and are subject to change at any time, if I feel you belong in a higher or lower level I'll move you. Security levels should also make you more comfortable with saying something in comments that you might not want said without such levels. As of now I have no intention to use these but if I do begin to use them the levels are as follows:
- Security Clearance Level: YELLOW (Highest)
Only one person has Yellow-Level clearance; if you're in this level you're very important to me, you can read anything and everything in this journal, you are the ONLY ONE with this level of access. You should NOT discuss anything you see in Level Yellow with lower levels, this is for your eyes only! Anyone with access to level yellow has access to all lower levels as well.
- Security Clearance Level: BLUE (High)
Only two people have access to Blue-Level clearance; if I've given you access to this level you're also very important to me, anyone with access to level blue has access to all levels except yellow.
- Security Clearance Level: GREEN (Standard)
This level is given to people who I trust mutually and are close/friendly but who I don't see a need to place in levels Blue or Yellow. The people I talk to most have access to Green-Level clearance. Green-Level members can read anything except Blue and Yellow-Level entries.
- Security Clearance Level: ORANGE (Low)
You're a friend and I trust you, but there are some things that I'd rather keep between a very few friends. If you're in level orange you'll only be able to view the levels below you, levels Green-Yellow can also view Orange-Level entries.
- Security Clearance Level: RED (Lowest)
You're on my friends list. I know a little about you, but not a lot. If you're on my friends list you have access to anything in Red-Level clearance. If I feel the need to elevate you, I will. This is basically the "friends" group but I need to make sure that anyone can use this level of access if they're a friend. In short, if I rant and don't care who sees it but want to keep trolls out, this is where it'll be. All Orange-Yellow friends can also view Red-Level Posts.

You've posted... but I either don't know you or haven't added you to my friends list. This is the default level that all current posts are at. Right now every entry is posted in Grey-Level clearance; you just need a web browser to use this one. I only labeled this as "Grey-Level Clearance" so that non-Friend readers would have a group.
If you believe you should be in a higher (or lower) group, make me a case to bump you up and I'll consider it -- consider does not mean "will do" for those who think it's a free ride up. As of now the levels won't be used except for testing, I'm going to post one message in each level, feel free to comment so I know you're able to read it.
