Arabian Safari
I want to write a few things down so I can remember them from our 'Arabian Safari' this evening
- Dune Driving is INSANE. Imagine a Toyota Landcruiser (05 or newer). Imagine the Arabian desert. Combine the 2 in a no-roads, no holds barred rally. I was sitting in the very back, so the bounce and whipping around effects were multiplied.
- I rode a camel. Not terribly comfortable. Also, camels are mean.
- Sand-skiing (or boarding) is not very fun. A lot of people tried it, but the sand was too soft to get down a dune
- I got a few authentic souvenirs that I am very proud of.
- Made friends with a 24 year old Iranian who spoke very little english.
