Now we flood
Rain and high winds from Hurricane Ike is pushing water into places of my Parish that were all ready devastated by Gustav. WILL IT EVER END? I have about 2 inches of standing water in my yard and rising. Around 1 am this morning the electricity went out. It was restored about an hour ago. Gusty winds have blown more debris in my yard, as well as, I found someone's screen door and tin roofing that blew in my yard. I'm done. Totally exhausted. I wish I could click my heels and go home.
