Justice served

On Friday the jury heard statements from the victim and his family, as well as, friends and family of the defendant, Amy Hebert. I would say that this day was the most emotional as people were able to relay their feelings of how much they miss the childen and the good natured, loving mother that Amy was before she went haywire. The jury did not deliberate Friday and was called back in Saturday morning. The jury, after being unable to come to a unaminous decision on whether she should get a life sentence or death, the Judge imposed a life sentence.

The jurors are back home with their families which I am sure after being sequestered in a hotel room for ten days or so, are happy this is over with. As for me, I still get chills remembering the crime scene and wonder how life turned so upset down and crazy in the mind of a mother. You just never know the inner makings of the human mind.
