Where I watch Princess Tutu, episode 4

This episode lets us begin to see the real Rue, at least a few glimpses of her at any rate. We see in her dancing that while she is really quite good, that she doesn't have all the basics down, she doesn't stand perfectly on her tip-toe the way the ballet dancers are supposed to. She also has a fair amount of pride, blaming her failure early in the episode on Ahiru distracting her (which just isn't true), but in the dance against the ghost maiden, she is forced to acknowledge, at least to herself, that the problem is with herself. Also, she is rather controlling over Mythos, like Fakir, and since I don't want to stop liking Rue, this means that I have to start liking Fakir. Hopefully that development for him will start kicking in really soon.

I also like how, just as I'm thinking that all the feelings that Princess Tutu is returning to Mythos are the negative feelings, Drosselmeyer comments on this. It really shows that the show is aware enough to know what it is doing. So yeah, this gives me yet more confidence that this show is going to work out well for me.
