I have to admit, I was surprised that Wester didn't start his attack while Love was en-route to Daisuke's game, thus giving a ticking-clock aspect to the episode, but instead she gets their, cheers him on, and his team ends up losing anyway; that part I did expect, I believe that's a standard thing in sports anime where the team we've been following gets past all obstacles but still ends up losing anyway.
ANYWAY! The entire sequence where the Precure team decides to turn into an actual baseball team to face off against the pitching machine monster was glorious, with the best bits being Buki bunting the ball, and the monster convincing Wester not to switch him out for another pitcher.
