Where I Watch Fresh Pretty Cure! Episodes 21 and 22
21 has Miyuki finally being let in on the trio's secret identities, and 22 has Eas revealing to Love that she is Setsuna, heavy game changing stuff for the characters all around. Overall 21 was mostly setup for 22, but it still had some strong moments on its own, especially the scene where Tarte is begging Miyuki to become the fourth Precure, and then later Miyuki realizing just what Love, Miki, and Buki have been going through. Also, the scene at the end of 21 with Eas slumped over and Souler standing over her, that sent a chill down my spine.
And 22 just continues that with Eas, only half-conscious, seemingly flashing back to when she became Lord Moebius's servant in that grey world of hers while Moebius and Klein are just so casual about how its no big deal if they lose Eas, there's lots more where she came from. As such, it is not at all surprising when Love embraces Eas even before the Eas/Setsuna reveal.
That said, it seemed to me like the animation budget for 22 was really shot to hell; I'd like to imagine this is so that 23 will get all the money it can. We will see.
