Where I watch Revolutionary Girl Utena, Episode 25
Seriously, I had been hearing all over the damn place how Akio's car symbolizes sex, but honestly, I don't think that was subtle enough to count as symbolism! XD. But in all seriousness, things have definitely taken an interesting turn, what with Akio openly comparing himself to Lucifer, and then Anthy draws the sword out of Utena's chest...whew, is it getting warm in here, or is it just me? And what the frick did Saioniji see at the End of the World? And how many shirtless scenes will Akio and Touga be sharing from this point on? And what was the eternal something that Akio showed Utena when she was a little girl, if that even really happened? All these and more, are questions that I'm sure will only be answered with layers and layers of symbolism, and I'm okay with that.
Also, I bet Utena really appreciates the gondola working from this point on, as that was a lot of stares for her to climb up. Also, the tasteful and artistic nudity. Also, the rose bush growing out of Anthy's discarded uniform. Okay, that last bit was weird, but that doesn't mean I can't like it!
