I just spent my lunch hour getting to know four of the cutest kittens on the planet. They are only a week and a half old, have just opened their eyes and so small that their ears haven't even sat up yet. There are no words...

Obviously, I am in the market from some lovable, fluffy little things and my family has some friends who are SERIOUS cat lovers (read: have over 100 cats at their house, and have just recently finished building a $300,000 extension onto their house FOR the cat) and that is where the little darlings were. However, they knew that I truly wanted a Hemingway cat and passed on a tip that there are two 8-week-old Hemingway kittens at an adoption shelter over on Margaret. Guess where I'll be going this weekend! Come to think of it, I should be calling them right now to make certain that they haven't been adopted yet and to set up a visitation time. Not that expensive either, considering they come to me already fixed and with all their shots.

Took some pics of the little ones I saw at lunch with a disposable camera. Thankfully they are still so young that they have no sensory problems. When they are small, light and sound does not bother kittens... didn't know that until today.

I'm such a sap!
