Once again lovely husband made sure I could watch Leverage with my breakfast *loves lots*

So here is my refelction on this the second episode of the second season of Leverage.

I knew in advance this episode was going to be Eliot-heavy and that made me happy from the start. I kind of recognize Eliot's defence of fighting as a sport from defending computer games as a hobby. And honestly the version of fighting tehy do in this episode seems more fair than say boxing. If you're gonna fight I think you should be allowed to use all parts of your body. Just sayin'. Anyways, this is not about fighting - this is about this awesome episode. As usual I'll be kind of fractured in my commentary.

I love Eliot's fighting instructions and Parker looks so damn pleased. I can understand that they laughed lots filming this scene. Aldis is hilarious!

The one thing I giggled lots about in the gold-scene was the fact that fake-drunk Nate has his Bloody Mary in a plastic disposable cup. Also, I wonder what else Hardison can make remote controlled *wiggles eyebrows*

I don't know if I should be proud of the fact that I recognized Eliot in the background instantly. I might be a bit obsessed. Also, slimy-Nate is slimy.

I just want to cuddle smalltown!Eliot! There it's said. *pinches his cheeks*

Parker's outfit at the consert was ridiculous and hot... was I the only one who had to fan myself over her pants? Also, she and Hardison work so well together *happy sigh*

Can I just say again how much I like Sophie this season. She might be a bit snotty and big city but still - with the nagging removed she is quickly becoming a favorite of mine.

I deeply approve of all the Eliot-hitting-things footage in this episode. And the scene with him and Sophie was great. Rather both of the scenes with the two of them rocked. I think Sophie was the one who learned something in this episode.

I did have my heart in my throat in the final fight - I started to suspect it being a part of a con when the ring-doctor was there since they said he was a friend of the clients from the beginning. It was really nicely done and I think that if they actually had drugged him something like that would have happened. Also, husband was not so secretly delighted that none of the fighters looks liked polished models. They had the fat needed to properly absorb hits. Great job from the casting people in getting a real fighter in there.

Another great episode and as I have seen the preview of next weeks ep I can say I expect great stuff there too. Even if the sneak peak makes me go "huh? whut? who?"

See for yourselves (don't click play if you don't want to be spoiled for next week of course):
