Rumors of My Death . . .
. . . are really only slightly exaggerated.
This is really mostly a drive by post. But hopefully will signal the start of a little bit more activity on this journal again.
So for those of you who don't know, I work a job that is extremely crisis sensitive. I can go along for months on a regular schedule, but when a crisis hits it can hit without warning and swallow my life for months to over a year at a time (yes, fun times for all). Anyway point being, that's what happened at the beginning of March and I'm really only now just starting to come out of it. I literally looked out my window the other day and wondered when I missed spring.
Things seem to be slowing down a little, but it's thrown my fandom life into a little bit of disarray. Obviously there are Parks stories that need to be picked up and revisited and I've actually spent this whole back half of the season two to three weeks behind the curve so I'm trying to rediscover my energy there.
In the meantime, I'm giving you fair warning that other pairings and fandoms are starting to encroach and tug at my fic instincts particularly my darker ones which as much as I love Parks and Leslie/Ben, I'm also a writer whose previous pairing of choice was Dexter/Lumen so there's kind of a unfulfilled need there. So things you may see showing up in the next few months as I try to find my talent:
1) Supernatural: Castiel/Meg -- This is almost a given, I'm signed up to do a story for them for the het_bigbang this summer because obviously I've spent too much time writing for a pairing everyone likes, its time to tackle an unpopular one again
2) Once Upon a Time: Rumpel/Belle
3) Revenge: Nolan/Emily
