Hey girls!
Man, the weather is disgusting here! Back in the cottage in Ontario, at least we lived near a lake, in a forest and everything was nice and fresh. But here... it's sooo humid. And heavy. And my sister wasn't there to complain all the time (she didn't come with us, spending the week alone at home with her boyfriend... well, that was her original time before he phoned her that his work let him go on vacation only the next week. They made a mistake on the schedule). Do you know what's the first thing she told me once we arrived? "I cleaned the house and now, you're all making a mess." Well, duh! We do have to unpack!
Anyway, my week in the wilderness was really great. I finally caught up with my HP reading. Almost done with the fourth book and then, it's the fifth's turn. I bathed about three times during the week, played badminton, frisbee, basketball, a bit of ping-pong, watched a few movies they offered, ate great food, fed some (a lot) cute and unafraid chipmunks, fed a duck, enjoyed the sun and burnt some mashmallows over a camp fire. It was really relaxing. Since the beginning of summer, all I've been doing was working and I finally got a week off... but I do wish the time-off were longer... I know that if I had been hired two weeks earlier, I would have gotten 2 weeks of vacation... So unfair. Oh, and I was stupid enough to forget my new digital camera with me, so no pics.
Tomorrow, I have yet to go get my work schedule for next week... bummer. And I'll go handing in my new schedule of availability for when university starts... Man, I can't believe summer is close to coming to an end.
Beside that, today, I almost got sick in the car for eating too much. We went to McDonalds because we were very hungry, and there was a Dairy Queen right beside it, so we went there as well. Oh, it was really stupid of me to eat all that food, but I managed to survive. It seems I over-estimated my stomach's capacity. I'll know next time. :P
Beside that, I really missed you girls, reading about your random ramblings. A whole week without a computer, the difference was noticeable. However, I didn't miss it that much, since that gave me time to actually go and READ my dear Harry. Sometimes, I would stop reading, trying to imagine if I were in the scene, what I would have done... like squashing the beetle Rita Skeeter is, knowing fully well her real identity :P
Oh... I have yet to hate Umbridge in the fifth... Umm, the torture I would have given her, but the Weasley's twins did an excellent job with their dragon fireworks ^_^
So, I think that's about it. Guess I'll be going then, still some unpacking to do :P See ya!

P.S. Oh, and I'd love to go see Rush Hour 3 and Stardust before summer ends, so if anyone would like to come with me, I'd love to see some friendly faces again ^_^
