All my life, my eyelids have hated me.
Today it's my right lower eyelid. Ow. I thought maybe I had an ingrown eyelash, not that I could see one, so I ripped out a few perfectly good eyelashes. It's OK; I have a stupid number of them -- there are two rows, at least, on my lower eyelid. Why is that necessary? Anyway, after hurting all damn day, now it's all swollen. I put a hot compress on it, but they only stay hot for about three seconds. It hurts to blink and squint and look around. Damn it. I think maybe I'll try sleeping. Perhaps I'll wake up to a normal eye, but I doubt it. I can't even see clearly, perhaps from the damn swelling. Meh.
