Hubbie, it can be said, is definitely now a Serenity/Firefly fan, for all his not-impressed-ness when he first saw it. When we got home last night, we watched an episode of Star Trek TNG (I don't think I mentioned: we managed to acquire a pretty full set of TNG DVDs at the church's car boot sale effort), and compared to Serenity, the characters were just so wooden.
It looks like this month is a good one for films. Not only has Serenity finally come out, but there's also the Wallace & Gromit film next week and Sky High (which Eldest really wants to see) at the very end of the month.
And speaking of W&G, this BBC news article tickled me: Something bunny really is going on!
