A present for our luau Queen, inthekeyofdUmm...I have a gift for the Queen which at first seems to be a little depressing, but at its heart it’s pure, unadulterated sap. And it features our beloved white dress shirt and some other white things as well. Just a short post-rescue fic that I hope will be more uplifting than sad. I know I'm not the Queen today, but I just had to tell you that this was wonderful.

The shower scene was amazingly emotional...but, it was uplifting and not too sad because Sawyer and Jack have just what they need...each other.

Guh - white dress shirt - double guh cos there's two white dress shirts... *happy sigh*. Why is it that one piece of clothing can make me go mushy?? I love the shower scene, not just because of the visuals it conjures up, but the depth of Sawyer's confusion and loss that you create. Great fic!!

And I have no idea why that white dress shirt has such an effect on us. *sigh*

Oh, OH DAMN, you hit me with the ONE-TW0 PUNCH...WHITE DRESS SHIRTS OF TEH SEX...wait, I just need a moment here.

Okay, I'm back, you know if it was just the dress shirts, it would be fantastic, but it's so much more, the shower, Sawyer feeling lost as if he really doesn't know what to do now, Jack feeling the same way, them needing each other.

Them wanting each other.

And you, oh you do one hell of a shower scene..no slash needed, just the visuals that conjures up alone are the best distraction a person can ask for.

*and extra points for the white towel too. *smile*

I don't know where it came from (I think I've been a little melancholy lately), and I was annoyed with myself when I realized putting it in Sawyer's POV meant I couldn't describe his dimples, but I bet you can conjure up that image for yourself...or you seem to have had no trouble doing that :) Just imagine water running over those gorgeous back dimples...

You've been melancholy too!! I swear this last week--I don't know what it is..but you know, I'm glad I'm not alone.

I was saying, we need some fun stories, nothing major, but just pure fun..and I'd like to see that in canon (I know it's a drama, but lighter moments are a good break), like that golf game, I'd love to see that again.

Oh, and don't worry, believe me, I was thinking about those dimples when he was in that shower. *smile*

Melancholy has rarely tasted sweeter than on this fic. Love how overwhelmed Sawyer is by what he feels, how vulnerable he is and how Jack is right there for him, where Sawyer needs him the most.
