academic eek!
Just mailed my dissertation director a provisional outline for my prospectus: four pages that contain the bare bones of the ideas I've been developing for literally years now. Keep your fingers crossed that it's workable, and that he doesn't send it back with a comment of THIS IS THE ACADEMIC EQUIVALENT OF MY FIVE YEAR OLD'S FINGERPAINTING.
Oh, and forgive the continued LJ flakiness. The beginning of this semester has been...tiring. Already. *sigh* But if I'm not posting often, know that I'm doing much better at reading and commenting.
