Without Her
This feels wrong. He'll lead the assault-because it's right, because he can, because he has to-but somewhere deep down he wonders if he can do it, if they can pull it off at all without her.
She should be here. That's what makes the cold sweat come over him some nights as he's lying in bed, too tired to sleep, thinking too much. During the day he's angry, vacillating between bitter and determined as he never stops trying to find her, but at night he's sometimes afraid, feeling helpless and alone in a way he never did on Caprica, and he doesn't like feeling that way.
She should be here. She was born for this kind of thing. He wasn't. He's doing it again-because it's right, because he can, because he has to-but this isn't him.
And this definitely isn't him without her.
