Did you say you have no pairings you give a shit about writing? Silly girl! If I'd heard you say it I'd have known you were gonna change your mind. ;) And yeah, Sawyer/Juliet are damn near irresistible! Who knew I had a het muse hiding deep in my brain?
Half of why I haven't been writing Lost the last year and a half or so has been that canon left me not wanting to write pairings--too much trauma going on to get into a snuggly love story, plus I wasn't crazy about about a lot of the canon pairings. But I've always liked Juliet's chemistry with Sawyer. Maybe I'll have to fic them. I'm just... Well, I've been in relatively canon-less waters for a while now (band boys don't have storylines to tangle with), so I don't even know how I'd start. Maybe with some prompts at lostsquee?
Which you should do, too, BTW. Gotta cultivate that het muse! ♥
I'd prefer to see Juliet and Sawyer stay in let's-be-leaders-and-take-care-of-this-shit mode, but I do like the dynamic they have going. It's kind of amazing that Sawyer's gone from refusing to drink the water she gives him to trying to protect her at all costs.
Actually, I think that's what I'm attracted to, their newfound sense of cooperation. If it turns into them having some desperate jungle sex, well that's just icing on the cake. (You know how it is--if we see a character dynamic we like, we're more likely to fic it for sex/romance than to just write a gen story about it.)

IDK, we'll see what comes of Jack and Sayid being in the same story again (presumably). :)
Oh, yay! I'm so glad you liked it. I found myself just really enjoying being along for the ride last night, like I trust that they know what they're doing with all this and I'm happy to wait and see what comes of all these new mysteries and plotlines.

Well, you'll be in fine company. The fandom's all about het these days and there are awesome writers writing those pairings.
It was awesome, wasn't it? :)
