Further proof that today is a day of Great Awesomeness! This is absolutely excellent. I love the party and how much the dynamics feel like family. [I've been slain by egg nog like that in the past. It makes for a great party, but MAN that shit is deadly.] I can see the scene with Bob and Ray in the kitchen so clearly - the contrast between the pair of them in shadow, watching the marrieds dance and laugh. <3 I think the body awareness Bob has of Ray is very sexy - it's an evocative illustration of want. And as much as it made me wince, Bob sleeping fully clothed in the bathtub is an excellent image

This works so well - both wanting each other so bad, and the misunderstanding between them was gorgeous. I loved Bob thinking that they'd never fit into a bunk. That was wonderful and so domestic.

This is gorgeous! I love the way you describe Bob *looking* at Ray standing in the doorway and them almost getting together in the kitchen and the whole fic has such a lovely warm tone to it - fantastic.
