jacks and sawyers

because, on the one hand, it seems cleansing to speak, and on the other, it just digs us in deeper, but at least we're dug in with each other...

what i've gleaned from reading my flist:

some of us are having a rough time with Lost right now. we feel like expressing that opinion will bring everyone down, will contribute to the problem, but we can't help how we feel.

some of us still really like Lost. we feel like expressing that opinion will betray those that aren't happy; secretly, we feel like we must be losers or stupid if we don't understand what's wrong.

all of us don't want this fandom to go down the toilet; all of us WANT to continue to like Lost.

if you feel isolated in your opinion, i guarantee you are not. do some flist-searching. and even if you are (what? Libby's dead! I wanted her to hook up with Jack!), we still love you.

we love us. right now, we sawyers are assuming the worst and putting up walls, and we jacks are optimistic because we're desperate to fix things.

this is just to try not to sound like i'm sure it will all be fine. (even though...i am.)
