writing update, necessarily self-centered
As I'm sure I've whined quite a bit about, I'm swamped with schoolwork. But after next week, the papers will all be done and my work will be at a manageable level...meaning: I can go back to writing smut.
First order of business will be some Jate smut. Maybe Skate. Hell, I've got het porn burning a hole in my pocket (figuratively), and the only thing it needs is the time to de-pocket it. :) I need to do it, because I've got that philosophy_20 Kate claim.
In a couple of weeks, I'm going to get back into Sawyer/Sun. I have my reasons why it's been--OMFG--three months since I posted anything of that sort. I HAVEN'T forgotten that series (for the handful of you who care :) ), but I was stuck for a while. Then school hell hit. Really, it takes a lot of brainpower for me to write those two, because it's not nearly as easy as slash porn or falling into a Jack/Kate mush-fest. I hope you guys can hang with me for another couple of weeks, because once summer starts, I plan to crank out the Sawyer/Sun.
Planned stories:
next: a little gardening, a little flirting
5: sun is picking up on Sawyer-speak; a long convo with Kate about things
6: can Sun con Sawyer? (in a playful way...I'm trying to show that she's not exactly the stick-up-the-ass that some people see her as...she's a match for Sawyer, anyway)
7: someone makes a move
I have tentative notes for a total of 12 stories.
Next, suggestions for J/S for the near future? More s/D? Return to Professor!Sawyer/BlueCollar!Jack AU (and how?)? Other lovely ideas?
And does anybody care to read really, really trashy J/K/S with excellent characterization (*snort*) but a mostly improbable scenario?
Oh, and if haven't read your fic recently, it's nothing personal. Some of it I never saw (Awakening interlude 3--how did I miss that?), and some I have bookmarked. I will be SO glad when the semester is over.
