I really have very little to say, now that I've caught up with this week's episode...except: quotes!
This show is full of such lovely one-liner, I can't help but write them down as I watch. Of course, that might be partly the bourbon talking. ;)
Olive: "That wasn't the truth bus. That was the bitchy crosstown express."
and
Ned: "I'm gonna see if I have some plastic wrap." (Which, you know, without the context? Odd. But perfectly romantic in context.)
Also, you have to love a show which uses the narrative transition of: "As Chuck and the Pie Maker considered the dead Shatz brother in the freezer..."
And then there's the southerner of Chinese extraction who was the swordfighthing champion of his volunteer regiment of a civil war reenactment, trying to regain his family honor by attacking our hero...but of course, the Piemaker wanted to be a Jedi, LOL.
Now, for serious, especially on top of Dean Winchester being Batman last night, I just have to say that, OMG, boys are so adorable when they're being cocky and nerdy!
(Was I the only one who thought the Piemaker transcended his usual nervous and earnest charm and moved into the category of nerdy hot simply by being in the weirdest and lamest swordfight in the history of the world? Just me? You know, I'm perfectly fine with that. :) )
