(no subject)
I'm home! Yay!!
The first thing I did yesterday when we pulled into the driveway was put on my bathing suit and go jump in the ocean and swim. Then I unpacked and did laundry while talking with Steph to our mom for 3.5 hours non-stop about everything. And I slept in this morning until 10:30.
Camp Brevard is finally over and I am home sweet home at last.
I had a lot of fun over all. I feel like I learned a lot I guess. Playing with the orchestra was pretty cool. I'm going to miss my friends.
So anyway, there was a veritable mountain of mail waiting here for me. Most of it is from Rice and I started looking through everything. It's rather ovwerwhelming. I think I need to take it in small doses.
Well...I've missed writing in here. Tonight my mom is throwing a dinner party for some friends of hers and mine and it's going to be fun I hope. Apparently Kris grew a beard this summer. Not really looking forward to seeing that. ugh. Why are boys so stupid???
But anyway, I am so happy not to be eating cafeteria food and sleeping in a tiny, uncomfortable bed. My room is quiet and beautiful and pink and private. I totally appreciate it more than ever. And air conditioning and a hot shower and the beach and the salty breeze and my car and everything else.
