(no subject)
Wednesdays are good days.
I got some great practice in this afternoon AND talked to my future teacher at Rice who is awesome and so inspiring and tough but in a nice way that makes me want to work really hard and funny and cool and... I could go on forever. I also found out today who my advisor will be at Rice- the music admissions counselor who is awesomely cool. Also, I ordered a cute pink hoodie with RICE across the front from the bookstore. So I have been doind a lot of college related thinking this afternoon. It's going to be awesome!
Also, my parents asked what I want for graduation. I said the usual, you know, stationary, luggage, cute dorm room stuff, and money :) Anyway, but they want to get a laptop and Rice doesn't really specify what type to get. Any suggestions as to a reasonbly priced/reliably good quality kind to get for mainly just email, internet, and word processing? I really don't use it for much else, except, of course, minesweeper. lol!! I just beat beginner in 6 seconds- my personal goal is 5, but I'm not sure if it's humanly possible. I'm such a dork!
So anyway, high school is definitely coming to a close. Awards night last night was pretty fun! My piano piece went well and it was cool getting all dressed in the cap and gown and all. Fun stuff. Except for English and Environmental which are going crazy with preparation for the AP tests my classes are pretty much nothing. But hey, I'm not going to complain. :)
Prom will be so much fun this Saturday. Three more days!!
Anyway, I have to go now and read for the Environmental quiz tomorrow.
