i watched like 39 child births on youtube last night. i'm going natural. fuck it. my great grandmother did it 15 times and she lived to be 90 something. there is really no need for that needle to go into my spine:
besides, then i can say that i REALLY had the experience of having a baby. and not freak out from not feeling my legs. at most...it's only a days worth of pain. by the time yr ready to pop, yr numb, from what i hear. i'm still gonna go for water birth though. the water does help ease the pains, it makes you feel relaxed, and moisturizes yr skin so there's less tearing. there's less strain on the baby and i would get to hold it right away. i'm going to talk to my OB today about it :)
