(no subject)
I have a faulty memory...
I carried out a conversation with a person last night for a good fifteen minutes or more.. catching up on what we have both been up to in the past six plus years since our last meeting.
This was good... said person now has relevant details such as email address.. contact is likely to continue.
I have a problem though...
I still can't remember his name. I think the time has passed where I can politely enquire due to lack of memory. I suck.., I have a vague idea but it is so very vague and highly unreliable.
All the academics are heading off to get pissed this afternoon at the staff christmas party... seeing as this Uni still seems to have me as working in the library I did not receive the relevant invitation (also a good thing) now I just have to wait until the mass exodus begins and quietly sneak away home.
This Christmas plans are progressing and once we have the final size of the emu (turkey) and I figure out if it will fit in our oven I will probably be al little more relaxed.
I have a sick fascination with making presents look all pretty and coordinating trims, paper and ribbon... I think I need professional help :p
The last of the shopping should be over tonight though.. no more hellish trips into overcrowded shopping centres * huge sigh of relief*
