I'm not feeling too creative right now...

I haven't posted anything for around four weeks. I just haven't been too inspired to write.  Part of the problem is, I think, that I fell part-way down the stair in my condo four weeks ago, and I wrenched my shoulder pretty badly.  I'm not positive but it felt like I dislocated something because it hurt like hell for a couple of days, and while I was massaging the top of my shoulder I lifted my arm straight out from my body and I heard and felt a loud pop.  My should hurt even worse for a few minutes, but then I realized the pain I had been feeling for the previous two days had faded quite a bit.  My muscles, etc.  were pretty sore for  several days after, but not like the pain from the first couple of days.

My friends from work wanted to know why I didn't go to the doctor, and I told them that I avoid going as much as possible.  I was a sickly kid, especially before I was nine years old, and I used to go to the doctor several times a month.  Ever since I stopped getting so sick, I've avoided going unless there's no other choice.  It's even worse now that I've had my bout with cancer, my hysterectomy, and my check ups every three months.

Still, I shouldn't have ignored my injury, although in my defense I really did think I had only sprained it.

I have a couple of story ideas that I'm working on; one is a spander fic (most likely a one-shot), and the other is a multi-chapter xangel fic.  I've been having problems getting any work done, though, because I haven't felt too inspired.  Maybe my shoulder injury made my muse take a vacation?  That must be the reason, because for the life of me I can't write a decent chapter four for the Knight who Sees either.

So instead, I've been doing a lot of fanfic reading.  Unfortunately, it seems like so many other spander and xangel writers haven't been as inspired a normal because there hasn't been as many postings as normal.  As a result, I've discovered a new fanfic pairing obsession: Harry Potter and Snape!

I never would have believed that I would like this pairing so much.  I've enjoyed the occasional drarry fic, but wasn't enthused enough to seek out many others.  Now, I'm working my way through the romance category over on fanfiction.net and having a blast.
