Happy Thanksgiving
I just wanted to wish all of my friends here in the U.S., Happy Thanksgiving!
I don't have much to say other than I finally started my Christmas shopping today by purchasing a refurbished ipod Nano online for my son. Luckily he couldn't care less whether or not he has this year's model, and buying a refurbished one saved me $50. With money so tight this year I'll take any savings I can get.
I am not, however, willing to get up at o'dark thirty in the morning to wait in line at some store to save $30 on a bicycle. I had to work too many early shifts on Black Friday to willingly shop that early, savings or not. It is a good deal...Walmart is selling 20" bicycles for $29 between 5am and 11am, but the only way I would have time to get it for sure would be if I got there right at 5am. Considering I have to work for 8 hours starting at 9 I'm not really willing to put myself through that.
Oh, well, my son hasn't really been that anxious for a bigger bike yet anyway. :)
