A Potpourri
Well, I had a pretty good Halloween...it was very quiet though. I went over to my friend Aylah's house after work for a Samhein ritual and got home at 10:00. I dressed up as kind of a spider witch, I guess....dunno what to really call it. *grin* Here's a pic:
And every Halloween, my dad and I carve a pumpkin together...here's this year's:
Let's see...what else is going on? Oh yes...my Luts Lishe shipped yesterday and she's supposed to arrive next Monday, so I'm completely excited about that! ^_^ Now I just have to hope the dress I got for her arrives around the same time. *grin* I've already got the wig, and her eyelashes are winging their way to me too. She's still got no shoes, though...I'm having a devil of a time trying to find shoes that I like. *sighs* Oh well, I'll find something, I'm sure. *grin*
On the art front, I'm about halfway done with my fantasy self-portrait, which I hope to finish in the next couple of days...I wasn't able to work on it last night or tonight, but I'll be back at the art desk tomorrow night since we're still on reruns of "Lost". *lol* After I'm finished with that, I'll need to do my Rainforst piece and then a couple of winter/holiday paintings. Dang, lots of painting to do! I gotta get cracking! :p

It really should be higher in Family/Friends...I'm sure they marked me down for not being married, having kids or having any siblings, and that's not really fair - I'm perfectly happy that way! Oh well...you can only do so much with a poll...*grin*
