"One of the best horror  TV Series of all time was Rod Serling's "Night Gallery." Guillermo del Toro was so enthusiastic about the show, that he recently conducted an audio interview with TVTimeMachine.com to discuss the series.

Both Del Toro (Pan's Labyrinth) and Jeannot Szwarc (Heroes) talk about the classic 1970's horror TV series Rod Serling's Night Gallery, on the Internet radio interview show TV Time Machine hosted by TV historian Jim Benson.

On TV Time Machine, Guillermo Del Toro gives his most comprehensive interview ever about his lifelong passion for Rod Serling's Night Gallery and his admiration for the show's most prolific director, Jeannot Szwarc.

In the early 1970's while growing up in Mexico, the series had a profound impact on Del Toro. The Academy Award-nominated director reveals the fact on TV Time Machine that the series has served as an inspiration for his remarkable film career.

"Night Gallery is a seminal work in my life," says Del Toro. "If you look at them movies I do, there's always a little something of Night Gallery.
