Eurovision, Lexa, and General TV Commentary

One thing I'm going to get off my chest here and not on Tumblr though:
I do not for the life of me understand many of these Clexa shippers! I do not understand how they can be so connected to shipping a pair on a show that treated them so badly. Maybe I'm just picky in praising the TV that I watch, but I don't understand their dedication to winning all these random nonsense Internet polls. On top of that, I don't understand why they're still watching the show at all, or how some of them dropped the show but will be returning to it next week just because their fave Lexa appears one last time. That last appearance is practically the definition of queerbait, isn't it? Why support that?
