(no subject)
well I put off this entry long enough. I was trying to save it for good news but saddly that will not be the case.
I didnt have any luck finding a job, upstate NY is a dead state, I found 1 job that I thought I had a good shot at but it seems a guy with 6 years experense was so desperate for work that he took a job paying $12 an hour, holy crap. But I thought I had hit a bright spot when I got work at EBGames, I know not exactly in my field but it would have a paycheck, or so I thought. I called in to get my hours and....0 thats right ZERO hours for the first week. Ok so I call the manager and he says hes sorry but he hired 4 new people for the season and he couldnt fit training in for all of them the same week so ill have hours next week. Im pretty upset as I wont get a paycheck till after christmas but its ok if its work. So I call again today to get my hours for next week and I get...3 THREE hours and they are scheduled for one of the 2 days I told him I had to have off before he hired me. So yeah I have 3 hours scheduled for a day I cant work, and on top of that its a 45min drive to the mall. So even if I could work at my wage I would get paid $20.25 before taxes for that day, so after gas I get paid like $12. oh joy im no longer poor. So I have to call and be lik WTF! and I might even have to quit before my first day.
Someone is really looking out for me.
