Hate Hate Hate

I just discovered yesterday was to be my last day off work until Valentine's day.
Joy of joys.

Next week, Tuesday and Wednesday are the SF trucks. Not all of the command staff are needed for those trucks, since the shift will be pretty much just scanning and breakdown.

Between you and Tray, each of you should take one of those days off. I thought we already discussed this? Anyway, Frank already said that you two are going to have to get a day off in there somewhere, and that that is the ideal time.

The way Jorn and I did it was we split resonsibility between Miami and Cal trucks. I did all Miami, he did all Cal. It worked surprisingly well.

Sadly, that's not a viable option this time - there's a bit more babysitting and wrangling needed. We really need that Nip+Tray ACTION.

*sigh*

I guess gone are the days when we could get out a 2000 piece Miami truck in 3 hours with 8 guys at midnight.

Boo-Ya Jorn. We made miracles happen. Faries truly did get their wings.

Yeah, and also gone are the days of a dozen mispulls per truck and three hour-inventories every week. Those sort of detracted from any so-called "miracles."

Hey, bullshit. We never had dozens of mispulls on days like those. Actually, it was only ever on regular weeks with no real pressure that we had big mistakes. Jorn and I even suggested half-joking at one point that we should only be doing shifts heavily understaffed and at 3AM when the truck is already a day late cause that's when we did our best work.
