Triquetra Tattoo Ida...

I have wanted ink for as long as I can remember. I never could commit to any one thing. I always wanted something very, very personal. I'd joke about an eeyore b/c I was obsessed with that in high school. I'd even be surprised to this day if I had gotten a pro-veg tattoo. Even though I did that for ten years, there was still an end. There's always an end to something.
Well, anyway, I have to say that I have a great idea. I love celtic tatts, personal tatts, asian, tatts, religous tatts. Well, I have a fan-fricken tabulous idea for a tattoo..for me.
There are lots of trinities in my life. There are 3 last names I feel are my own. There are three religions that have somehow shaped who I am. There are lots of them really, but anyway.
Do you know what a triquetra is? It's the Celtic triangle. It could be Christian or Pegan. There's really not a lot of evidence that it's pegan, but anyway. I want a very intricate triquetra, maybe done in celtic knotwork. Around it, somehow, I want My 3 last names...Ferguson...with a Cross on or near that...Alghurabi...with the Islamic moon and star...and of course, Ross, with the Star of David. No matter what religion I claim most often, I always find ties in monotheism. I really, really, really, adore this idea.
It came to me out of nowhere really. I was looking at other tattoos. I was thinking of things that I could live with "forever." I think I could live with this idea.
Colors and body placement are to be determined at the moment. I am thinking that I don't have a lot of places on my body that, sadly, don't change shape frequently. Some part of my back? My foot? Some weird spot like the place around my rib-cage by my back...perpindicular to the armpit? Hrmmn? Dunno. Lots to think about.
I think I need to draw it out...and play with color...and whatnot. I think I want the knotwork in rainbow shading. I think I want the Star of David to be Blue and ooh...maybe I'll have Ross written in Hebrew, Alghurabi written in Arabic...and...all these craaaaaaaaazy ideas. I'm fricken excited. I think I am really gonna do this.
I need to meet with a kick ass artist and have him draw me up some ideas of this. Fuckin AWSOME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
