CASSO
the day did work out! yes because zhen ai said i'm superwoman heeeHEE! what else am i zhen ai? ;)
so was this MAD rush down to Aquinas where obviously i got in late but no one seemed to really care anyway. And we all got down to the solid hour, planning the social calendar for all the schools for the year. it's great cos you get to meet new people as well. that cheap thrill of mine..
straight after cabbed UP (surprisingly to say) to PC for music, CASSO (combined anglican schools symphony orchestra) and with 9 other schools! heaps fun! and then realised we had symphony, band and choir all rehearsing all at the same time! percussion was just the sleeping club. you have 7 percussionists and 5 parts, all at 5 different times generally. Apart from the two other chicks from st hilda's, we only consisted of the usual concert band group, caitlyn, lennard, charles and taylor. MAN! DID WE HAVE FUN AND LAUGH TILL WE CRIED!
you know those bass string instrument? (think gigantic violin) well charles decided to get into one and while i was zipping him up, Mr H decided to just walk to percussion section. i just stopped and there you have Charles' head in the bass bag, half zipped and you see the head looking left and right. Lucky he wised up and quickly got out of the bass bag. HAHA!
so we've decided that since we have so much free time, (im serious, 3 hours and i only played a piece) i was gonna bring lollies the next time, charles- electronic card shuffler, taylor- poker chips and cards, lennard- drinks. hahahaha! and i honestly believe we can pull it off.
So i gotta run, it's 10 to 7am and i've got sport, homework and a sucky-arse school life. at least now monday's dont seem too bleak and hey, i get to see the same funny people for tues concert band rehearsals as well!
