Obligatory Fandom/Life Update

Well, there's three midterms done in two days. Until the dust settles I figure I can relax a bit. And then it'll be reading break ( = spring break without the connotation of enjoying yourself).

Non-school things have been happening.

I saw The Eagle. SOOOO much subtext (text? walking-off-into-the-sunset-together-ness?). I love it. I feel like a bad fan for not reading the book though, or, y'know, realizing there was one.

Started watching Justified. A little late, I know (but by no means a record, though). I like this guy. Thought he would be older though. I think it's because I get Timothy Olyphant mixed up with Timothy Omundson. Don't ask me why.

I keep telling everyone I know that I'm looking forward to Cowboys and Aliens. They probably think I'm a bit strange. But once I tell them it's got Harrison Ford and Daniel Craig they seem to come around.

Saw the trailer for Priest. It looks... nuts. But then my brother told me it's based on a Korean comic. Makes a little more sense now, for some reason.

I've fallen behind on The Cape. Only by like two episodes, but I still feel like a bad person. I'm wondering where the Cape/Chess fandom is, because their impossible UST it SOOOO obvious. Or at least to me.

Way behind on Chuck. I get updates from a friend who says I HAVE TO catch up. I keep telling myself to do it for Casey (and Morgan... and the Casey/Morgan) but... it's hard. My heart's just not in it.

(I'm supposed to be (read: right now) writing a paper about the use of ANOVA. My heart's just not in that, either. In case you hadn't noticed.)

Hawaii Five-0 fandom is kind of awesome. Or a lot awesome. But it's a little overwhelming. THERE IS SO MUCH GOING ON AND I HAVE NO TIME. I'm also behind by one episode.

Watched the Flashpoint season three finale. WHAT?! This rates up there with sending Sheppard off in a jumper with a nuke and then fading out. (Also, yay! for some Spike background.)

I've been reading Clive Cussler. I mean, it's not good or anything, but if you're looking for action fodder it serves its purpose. That and I like Al.

(I really hate this paper.)

fandom is awesome, books, the cape, too many tags!, geekyness, chuck, justified, school, movies, hawaii five-0, flashpoint
