Without going too much into the details of how the plotting is mediocre, the continuity sketchy, the believability leaning toward laughable, the writing ehhh, the gratuitous chest-baring limited to Alex (what's with that?), and the product placement at a level approaching insulting ("Oh yeah? Bing it!")...

I like this show.

Oh, Team-of-buddies-chemistry, you can redeem anything. The fact that it's Hawaii and there's Scott Caan doesn't hurt either. Now, if only Kono and Chin could have some character development...
