(no subject)
It's kind of rainforesty here. Was going to go grocery shopping, but two blocks to the local library proved to me that there's no way I'm doing anything in this heat.
Moping about (Clare and Jim moved out) and trying to come up with a viola part to this "Golden Wigs" song, which is rather difficult since my computer speakers aren't as loud as I'd like them to be.
Briefly interrupted to go make sure my passport was valid; my uncle and 90-year-old grandmother were all packed, ticketed, and so forth to set off for Singapore when it came to light that his passport needed renewing. So she went by herself (she's staying with a friend, though). Apparently I'm the only one in the family with a valid passport. I think it's hilarious, but am cringing at the expense of the wasted ticket (I imagined it to probably be about what I make in a year, but after checking expedia it's more like 9 weeks...wait. I'm assuming he was going first class with her, so actually...yeah. About a year. Holy shit. How is a first class ticket an extra five thousand? That makes no sense.)
