I am at home. It is very, very quiet. My computer should be fixed soon, and then I will commence to take better care of all you curious minds. In the meantime, I have taken 3 days off of my job volunteering 9.25 hrs a day at a high school in order to spend a week at home. Today I got up before seven in order to, uh, go to high school, where I went to orchestra, history (it was blitzkrieg day. I got all giddy when I realized this. God, I'm such a nerd), and, in order to help me at work, environmental systems. I then talked to Ms. B forever about my job, hung out a bit, and went home to make gingerbread. After later hijacking Kylie's piano lesson to talk about my job, I went to PeaceJam.

That's right, this is my vacation: going to (a functional, wonderful) public high school and then working on some quilt for some service project that I don't even really know about. I'm nuts. But at least I know how to crochet now. And crochet hooks, unlike hummus (this is currently a sore spot) and knitting needles, are allowed on airplanes.
