So today I rediscovered an old mixed cd that my friend made for me in high school of all Something Corporate songs, scattered with a few All American Rejects. I realized all over again why I love Something Corporate. Jacks Mannequin just doesn't do it for me.. they're too poppy. And its been sinking in that alas- Something Corporate is dead. Probably not ever releasing another album. Or going on tour. They have by far some of the best songs I've ever heard (and yes, Matt, I know you'll be in disagreement over this). Songs like "Walking By," "When it Goes Down," "Letters to Noelle," and of course "Konstantine... melancholy and quirky with that gorgeous, gorgeous piano.

Tis an end to an era.

And if i have to eat my words when they come back around again, I'll be more than happy to do that.
