Seriously though, I do wish I had a better understanding of certain functions on paint.net (the program I use to edit). It sucks that I usually just play around with it until it "looks good," but I also think looks good is fairly subjective.
immediately after hearind this I actually downloaded paint.net and figured out how to do those things in it, but I did not make a video tutorial yet; I am going to bed now and might do so in the morning. hf!

It's knowing what does what. Kinda like I know contrast will bring out the whites and darks, but what does the "lines" tool do. That type of thing. IT's like "Ooooh, this looks like it can do cool stuff, but I have no clue how it functions."
Whens I get my lappytop up and running, playing with programs will be far easier and less time consuming (eg won't have to be sitting at the computer).
