SecuROM
I am convinced that, after all of my troubles with my EA games, I will probably never, ever buy another product from them, and that SecuROM is the world most epic fail, and a giant piece of shit. You have no idea how pissed off I am that I've spent over $300 in games and expansions with EA and how I get treated is with mistrust and bad customer service.
Seriously guys, what the fuck? Am I supposed to believe that Sims 3 is really going to be any better?
I'm just so mad. I've been given shitty and overly complicated methods of "patching" my game. I got so fucking pissed of yesterday that I just deleted Bon Voyage, but now Seasons, after running fine twice, also is not working.
And, mind you, you only get 4 times to use an activation code for their expansions because they are greedy, paranoid assholes. And I already had to uninstall Bon Voyage once. So I'm running out of installs.
And I have to keep moving my custom content! I HAVE 7 GIGS OF CUSTOM CONTENT!
ALSO, for whatever awful technical reason they chose, the first expansion to include SecuROM also was the first to create a different save file. So everytime I have to reinstall or unintall, I lose all of my saves. Seriously?
If EA was any kind of a company worth giving so much money to, they would refund my money or send me a new disc.
Because this is bullshit.
