One more work day till one very fun long weekend!
Time to get some freakin cleaning done so I can actually enjoy it. The weather forecast was lookin pretty good all week long but now they're seeing some cloud and precipitation. BOOOO. Still nice to be out of the negatives though. Tomorrow however, the day of days, 6 degrees C and maybe a few specks of cloud in the sky. :D
Umm what else. Oh yeah. Had to go to this tech fair for work to see some of the new stuff coming out this year and play with some prototypes. I must say I'm very impressed with the new stuff. We have a new DVD Camcorder that has a built in 4-channel mic, and a Dolby 5.1 encoding chip. So it'll take the common audio from the front left/right and turn that into a center channel, and all the lows from all 4 channels and zap that to the subwoofer channel. Saw some cool outdoor demos on a nice 5.1 system and it rawked. They had this "party" demo too where someone was just standing in the middle of a room filming, and all of the people around were talking and you could track individual conversations as he moved and turned and stuff. Prettttyyy neat. We also have a new 3chip CMOS camcorder which does some insane quality shots, but it's a wee bit pricey for the every day user.
My cat's swimming through my mess of clothes and stuff so I think that's my cue to start cleaning. Annddd now I've lost her, freakin thing. Annnyway. Will post more later.
