Bandwagon! :D

I've gotten a bunch of new friends in the past few weeks, and I figured it would be nice to have a little meet-and-greet post. :3 Best way to get to know someone is through a needlessly long questionnaire, right? The form is under the lj-cut. :D

Oh, and. Please do this even if we've been friends for forever.

I get by with a little help from my friends... )

meme, bee has a life?

Five not interesting things about yourself: I'm engaged (I find this rather interesting but others don't sometimes), I took one year of ASL and loooved it (Take it! It was so fun!), I just got a job at Margaritaville, I'm an FSU grad (once again, I find this interesting haha), I'm afraid of ghosts.

And I would love to be adopted as your little sister. That makes me so happy. *tears up* I personally think it's very interesting that you're engaged. I lived in Florida for a little while - Boca Raton, I believe, the place was called. Alligator Alley was good times.

My brother took ASL, so I wanna take it to A: get closer to him, as we have an oddly strained relationship and B: have ~secret conversations with him. And I think it's a really interesting, "alternative" way to express yourself. Actually forming the words with your fingers and hands teaches you a whole new understanding and respect for communication.

I hope anyway.

It really is amazing. My friends (that have taken ASL) and I will be out and randomly sign to one another, just out of habbit. Even if it's just in a loud room and we're saying "I'm going to the restroom". It's just a really neat way to communicate. I'm dyslexic so it was hard for me, but I really loved it and would recommend it to anyone. :)

Ah, I am so excited. I'm hoping that next year, I'll be able to sign up for the class before it fills. *fingers crossed* Otherwise I'll have to wait another year, as ASL I is offered only in the fall and ASL II is offered only in the spring.
