Howdy hoes,
Ben's back with another frivolous update. After deliberation I decided to do summer school at Tarrant County. I'm taking college algebra, which is a challenge for someone who hasn't taken a math class in four years. It was either that, or anatomy which, I heard from various sources, is unbearable since the summer courses are condensed in a small timeframe. I quite like it actually; it's like puzzles for adults. That and my roommate, Katie, is taking it with me. We have a test every Monday until July 2nd and then a cumulative exam (I only mention this because I find it odd to take cumulative tests in the summer), meaning I will be routinely occupied with the traditional part-time student, part-time employee shenanigans.
We'll be moving apart soon, and so we wanted her birthday to be pretty fabulous. Our apartment is the closest to the pool, and since her boyfriend is a chef we were going to have a cookout, with a whole beach theme, vodka watermelon, etc. Only someone broke into the pool gate early and busted out a light. Probably some fags trying to pull a "Jackass" stunt. Who knows, but it is hot as baaalls here already, so that's a major inconvenience.
Me and Ashley have our hearts set on a few loft floorplans in downtown. Everything would work perfectly since Trinity River Campus and and an Omni hotel are several blocks on either side of where home would be. The major issue is the parking. Not even one free parking space is granted to residents. Me and Ash would have to pay 105.00 EACH for our vehicles. that might be a deal-breaker unless we find some way around it. I don't want to park at a nightclub and walk five blocks with groceries.
Hoards of folks at the concert, Friday: John, Tierney, Rachel, Natalia, Nick, Lindsay, etc. We went to see Peaches at the Granada! Randomly, she called me out on stage (we were close), said I was beautiful and liked my style. I mean, if Peaches said it, it must be so. Naturally, the crowd won't make a liar out of Peaches, so I got pictures and numbers. I was closing my tab, and one of the film crew swung by to tell me I'd be on the dvd. Just thought I would share that me and Peaches had a little moment.
That's about all I feel like sharing. I came online to watch a tutorial on youtube, which begat a ton of stupid videos. That place is addictive. I need to brush up on graphs of polynomial functions. See ya.
