The Depotts show last night was so much fun! I went with Simone, and we met up with Joey there. I wasn't at all sure what to expect, as I'd never even been to a church before. There wasn't a huge crowd - maybe 30 people - and Mony said that there were usually far more. I'm very disappointed that I didn't go to the last one, because apparently Miller had a gorilla suit. Two of the openers were pretty good, but the other one was just angry screaming music, and all their songs sounded the same. After the show, I asked the lead singer/guitar guy, Mark, if I could be a roadie.
Me: Can I be a roadie?
Mark: I don't think you want to be a roadie.
Me: Please?
Mark: The initiation process is very painful.
And then I felt bad because the band had to dissemble the stage and carry it into a different room, but hey, I offered to help. I bought a CD and some buttons. Yay! They're playing Virginia Beach next Saturday. Anyone care to drive us? Mony and I considered asking the band if they would drive us, and they probably would, but our parents might not be too happy with their 13-year-old daughters driving to Virginia Beach with a bunch of 18-year-old guys. Actually, I don't know how old they are. Does anyone know?
