Orientation a la York: Learning to Hate Sean Paul and Fifty Cent

I'm wondering how long this entry should be, and where i really should start. there's SO much to tell....hmm......i know for a fact that i have tons of time to spare, since i'm missing out on a toga party right now (which i obviously didn't want to attend, i mean, togas?? wtf??)

ok, i've decided. the beginning. after all, i can't leave my avid readers hanging, right? but of course....so, let's begin, hmmm?

Monday: Move-in day. After an extremely frustrating drive down to York (i'll skip out on this part because it caused a significant amount of angst for both of us) we reached my residence building. we began to unpack things, and i picked up my key. i went up into my room, and the second i took in the sight of it, 2 words formed in my mind: Cellblock 604B.

taking about 4-5 trips of moving stuff into my room, and after seeing what my room looked like, my brother promptly suggested that i go out and but some much needed stuff (like a mini-fridge) and i agreed to do so, so off we went. After several hours and lunch at MacDonalds later, i returned with a new mini-fridge, new speakers, a new printer, new sandals, and a new carpet that i left in my brother's car because my room is too small for the carpet. after some of the events of the day, i had a few hours to kill and so i unpacked most of my stuff in my room. i discovered: my room faces the sun, so intense heat, ALL the time, my air conditioning works but even when set on high it still does nothing, my suite-mates are ok people, i live in a shithole, and it's very, very, dirty.

Tuesday was equally dull, with the exception of the ....Condom Olympics, in which the frosh leaders made up various games using condoms, like the proper way to put one on ;P

today is wednesday. well, it's also relatively late, but as i said before, there's that toga party going on, and the music is loud enough to penetrate every single room in my , building. Oh, and another thing. Tonight, i had the best turkey sandwich from Tim's yet. K, try this out for a change: Same old turkey sandwich, with the ranch sauce, but without tomatoes, and put some cucumbers in it, and then add black pepper too. then put it into the fridge for awhile, and THEN eat it. It was AWESOME. Kris, you gotta try this, it's absolutely fantastic.

k, here comes the mushy crappy part

it's been a great few days so far, but seriously, i miss you guys so much. Kris, Adam, you two are lucky to have so many people you know in the same university. i saw bentley for a little bit today, but that was about it. and i know it's a good thing to be meeting new people and all that, but i'm very much wanting for school to start now. alright, i've said enough...

*bloop!*
