Broken Vans and such

Saw Sharon Jones & the Dap-Kings last Sunday night with jackthebodyless, djvitruvius and of course the lovely xhollyday, among others. The music was crisp soul revue sound that was expected, and the only that could have made it better would have been the show starting on time. It was scheduled for 10pm, but one broken van later the band arrived at 11:45 and was on stage at midnight

My only job was to make sure Nathan made it home alive. I didn't fail, but I was a bit of a jerk as I made him sleep in the car while I attended the wedding after party in the hopes of finding someone who I had sadly failed to give the digits to the night before. While I was successful, I did damage my credit with my brother. I regret this, as I love Nathan very much, but last night sure did not show it.

Nathan was, and rightly so, very cranky with me. He never would have done that to me, and I feel that a public apology is warranted. I'm sorry Nathan! I really do owe you now. Come visit me in Minnesota, and I will do my very best to cancel my debt with you

On the other hand, there was a drunk dial to the parents last night, and I do believe that Dad greatly enjoyed it, but Mom remains unconvinced.
