Mid Year Report for 2024
Thus far in 2024:
I have read 296 books, which broken down as follows:
- 26 prose books
- 20 graphic novels
- 3 books of poetry
- 247 books I read to my daughter
All of those component numbers are higher than 2023 at the same point, which says to me that I'm allowing adequate time for reading.
I have been to 5 concerts and saw a total of six bands. This is also better than in 2023, and I really need to write up some concert capsules.
I've seen three different movies, all at the Cinematheque, which exactly matches last year's behavior. This does not count repeated television viewings of Cinderella properties or Encanto, which I am usually not paying full attention to.
I have not watched a single complete television series. M and I haven't watched anything together, and I still haven't actually finished a full season of Bluey, and lords knows I'm not watching much else.
I have written 44 LJ posts, including this one. This is just barely the lowest total since I started doing mid-year review, and under my twice/week target number. Since I have a long list of topics, this is particularly concerning to me, and I need to look closely at my time commitments to see where I can cut to make up for this.
