Bird Quotes
Birdie is now very, very verbal and says many entertaining things. Here are two of our recent favorites that don't require seventeen tons of context to find amusing:
[1] On a recent trip to the zoo, Birdie noticed that some other people were getting ice cream and asked for some for herself. M explained that we don't have ice cream every day, we only have it on "special days." Birdie immediately responded that "today is a special day!"
[2] Birdie and M were on the driveway and a fly buzzed past Birdie. Birdie immediately said "oh no, it's a garbage bee!" We may never call flies anything other than "garbage bees" again.
